The number of vessel calls to Ukrainian ports on the Danube dropped by 2-5 times last week. This is evidenced by data from Marine Traffic, a program for monitoring naval traffic.

In particular, the number of vessels in the port of Izmail decreased to 48 on Monday, compared to 120 last week. In addition, 22 vessels are expected to arrive.

The number of vessels in the port of Reni on Monday fell to 12 after 58 last week. Nine more vessels are expected to arrive.

The number of vessels in the port of Izmail has been decreasing since last Thursday, on Friday there were 113 vessels in the port, 21 vessels were expected to arrive. On Sunday, the number of vessels dropped to 99 and 25 more were expected to arrive.

In the port of Reni, there were 52 vessels on Thursday and 12 were expected. On Sunday, there were 33 and 11 were expected.

The ports of Greater Odesa have not resumed work after the termination of the “grain initiative”.

As reported, on the night of August 2, an elevator, grain hangars, tanks of one of the cargo terminals, production, warehouse and administrative premises were damaged and destroyed as a result of an attack by Russian drones in Odesa region. In addition, the three-story building of the Sea Port in Izmail sustained significant damage.

As a result of Russia’s night attack on the infrastructure of the Danube cluster ports, 40 thousand tons of grain were damaged.
