The arrival of five ships is expected in Ukrainian ports
Ukrainian ports have already left 24 ships with grain.
A caravan of five ships is expected to arrive at the port of Chornomorsk in Odessa, reports The Administration of Seaports of Ukraine on Wednesday, August 17.
More than 70,000 tonnes of wheat, bran, sunflower oil and corn are expected to be loaded onto these ships.
“Our main objective is to increase the intensity of the work of the “grain corridor” at the entrance to the ports. Today we expect five ships to enter the port of Chornomorsk – this is the highest indicator during the period of operation of the grain corridor. We must respect these rates in order to reach the monthly transshipment volume above 3 million tons with an intensity of around 100 ships per month,” AMPU reported.
It is also reported that this morning the SARA and EFE ships left the port of Odessa to the caravan formation point, and the PETREL S from the port of Chornomorsk, carrying more than 33,000 tons of food in total.
In just 17 days of operating the grain corridor, 24 ships left port. Only yesterday five ships left ports at once with 110,000 tons of grain – the largest caravan.
