Charoen Pokphand Foods (CP Foods) has become the first Thai company to export frozen pasteurized liquid whole eggs to Japan.

A ceremony was held to launch the first shipment from Ban Na egg processing plant in Nakhon Nayok province. The egg processing plant, certified to international standards, produces liquid and boiled eggs at a production capacity of 2 million eggs per day. The eggs are delivered to food processing factories for the production of ready-to-eat meals under the CP brand.

CP Foods said that the pasteurized liquid whole eggs are made from eggs sourced from hens raised with animal welfare and biosecurity standards. The liquid eggs are pasteurized and packed in a temperature-controlled facility to maintain their nutritional status and extend their shelf life beyond that of fresh eggs.

According to Wanthanee Chamnarnshettakarn, head of Egg Processing Bread and Ready to Eat Paet Rew Business at CP Foods, the company’s dedication to product quality and sustainability has earned the trust of Thai and Japanese consumers. She added that this achievement marks the significant milestone for Thai livestock industry, as CP Foods’ liquid pasteurized egg has now been recognized by Japan, one of the world’s most discerning markets.
