The planting of the new Brazilian soybean crop had a week of recovery in most of the country’s main growing states in the period between October 14 and 20. With greater moisture concentrated in the states of Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina, farm machines were able to advance at a better pace in the states of the Midwest and Southeast, which received some rain but in smaller amounts. Work has begun in states of the North and Northeast regions, although moisture is still low. The pace is now back within the five-year average for the period.
