In addition, by the end of this month, corn threshing was completed by 71% of the plan (+12% per week; 74% a year earlier; 66% over the past 5 years).

Winter wheat sowing in the US was completed on 84% of the planned areas (+7% for the week), which is slightly lower than last year’s result (86%) and the average for the last 5 years (85%). Sprouts appeared on 64% of the areas. Almost half of the crops (47%) are in “good” and “excellent” condition, which is much higher than a year ago (28%).
