Singapore occupied 8% of the Ukrainian palm oil market 

Palm oil imports in September-March 2019/20 decreased to 125.4 KMT (down 9% from the same period in MY 2018/19), UkrAgroConsult reports.

Imports from the key suppliers changed as follows: Malaysia – down 25%, Indonesia – as high as last year.

Palm oil purchases from Singapore surged, became regular, reached a record 9.8 KMT in March, and Singapore’s import share expanded to 8%.

For the first time, palm oil was bought in the markets of Georgia and Spain. No more imports from Germany, Lithuania and Latvia.

Total palm oil imports this season will be down 3% at some 210 KMT.
