Russia’s statements about the free transfer of grain to other countries are manipulation – the deputy

The words of the Russians regarding their readiness to supply up to 500,000 tons of grain to foreign countries “free of charge” in the next four months are yet another manipulation.

This opinion was expressed by Dmytro Solomchuk, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy, Ukrinform reports with reference to the parliament’s website.

“The proposal of the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation to “gift” 500,000 tons of grain to the poorest countries is yet another manipulation, because such an amount of grain on the world market is nothing. It is also important to understand that these 500,000 tons of grain are agricultural products stolen from Ukrainian farmers. They can’t implement it, so they want to give it as a gift, and thus show themselves as “philanthropists”, – the people’s deputy is convinced.

According to him, in fact, Russia needs cataclysms in Africa and Asia so that there will be a large number of refugees to Turkey and European countries.

“They want to achieve this, but they will not succeed. We have not yet heard the position of the UN and Turkey regarding the statements of the Russian Federation. Now everyone will be involved as much as possible so that the corridor will still remain,” Solomchuk summarized.

As reported, on October 29, the Russian Federation announced its withdrawal from the “grain initiative”, justifying its decision with an attack on a ship of the Black Sea Fleet in the Sevastopol Bay, blaming Ukraine and Great Britain for this.

On July 22, the Initiative on safe transportation of grain and other products from the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk and Pivdenny was signed in Istanbul.
