Russians announce losses of crop yields in the occupied territories of Ukraine

In the occupied territories of Kherson region, the harvest of some crops this year is half that of last year, IRS-Pivden reports, citing Russian sources.

“Compared to last year, the harvest of peas and rapeseed is down by 50%, barley by 33%, and wheat by 19%. Suppliers fear they will not be able to fulfill the terms of their contracts. The government’s goal is to reduce business losses and help companies affected by the heat wave,” the Russians said.

According to the newspaper, the Russians have not provided subsidies and state support to farmers on the left bank.

“Regarding melons and vegetables: in 2023, state support measures were envisaged. Unfortunately, these measures to support farmers have not been fully implemented or not at all,” Pavlo Kim, a farmer from occupied Skadovsk and Putin’s confidant, complained to journalists.

The main reason for the crisis is the dry summer.
