Russian barley started the export season excellently
701.7 KMT of Russian barley was exported in July (+12% from July 2019/20), UkrAgroConsult reports. Traditionally, the bulk of exports were shipped to Saudi Arabia, which boosted purchases by 35% from last season.
During the first month of the season, Jordan bought 112.5 KMT of barley from Russia, or 61% of the total volume imported in MY 2019/20.
A slump in shipments was registered to the following countries: Iran: -71%, Libya: -90% and Israel: -69%.
Exports to Azerbaijan increased a few times.
