After the prolongation of the Grain Initiative, the Russian Federation agreed to resume entry inspections only for two of the three Ukrainian ports.
This was reported by Yuriy Vaskov, Deputy Minister of Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine.
“As of the morning of May 19, it became known that Russia agreed to resume inspections of the incoming fleet to the ports of Odesa and Chornomorsk, but refused to inspect ships heading to the port of Pivdennyi,” he said.
Vessel inspections to Ukrainian ports had been stopped since May 7 due to the position of the Russian delegation in the Joint Coordination Center (JCC).
