Record season for Ukrainian wheat is over

Ukrainian wheat exports in MY 2019/20 totaled a record 20.57 MMT (+32% from MY 2018/19, +17% from the five-year average), UkrAgroConsult reports.

This past season, the top importer was Egypt, which increased purchases by 94% and its export share by 5% from MY 2018/19.

The following importers boosted purchases to the greatest extent (from MY 2018/19): Yemen (+297%), Turkey (+296%).

A decrease in exports was registered to the following destinations: Morocco (-45%), the EU (-37%), the Philippines (-33%), Thailand (-26%).
