Pork exports 1H 2019: key markets for Ukraine

In January-June 2019, Ukraine exported 467.7 tons of pork to Vietnam worth USD 1.1 million.

By the data of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine (SFSU), the key importers of Ukrainian pork in the reporting period are as follows:

    Vietnam — 467.7 tons worth USD 1.1 million;
    the U.A.E. — 301.5 tons worth USD 709 thou.;
    Hong Kong — 136 tons worth USD 320 thou.;
    others — 100.8 tons worth USD 237 thou.

In total, Ukraine exported 1 006 tons of pork equivalent to USD 2.37 million.

As previously reported, poultry meat, pork and beef are the most popular among consumers in Ukraine.
