Poland sold off its grain surplus
Poland has exported about 4.5 million tons of grain in recent months. This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Poland Robert Telus on Twitter.
“I want to inform you that we no longer have a grain surplus. Over a period of about four months, we managed to eliminate about 4.5 million tons of grain using subsidies offered by the government,” he wrote.
Telus clarified that the government’s goal was to prepare farmers’ granaries for the harvest, and this goal has been achieved.
