The pace of sowing of spring wheat, corn and soybeans in the USA last year was higher than expected.

Corn sowing has been carried out on 70% of the planned area (76% and 71%), soybean – on 52% (61% and 49%).

Winter wheat crop condition continues to deteriorate, but remains much better than a year ago. The proportion of crops in excellent to good condition decreased to 49% (50% a week earlier and 31% a year ago). The proportion of crops in poor and very poor condition is 18% (18% and 40%). In satisfactory condition there are 33% (32% and 29%) of crops.
