Canadian farmers in the province of Saskatchewan, which is considered one of the country’s key agricultural regions, are nearing the end of the crop harvesting campaign. As of the beginning of this month, all work has been completed by 95%, which is 4% higher than last week and 11% more than the same period last year.

According to the available information, the country has completed 90% of the canal cleaning, while soybeans and oilseed flax harvesting has been completed on 68% of the plan for both crops.

The threshing of major grain crops (winter and spring wheat, durum wheat, barley and oats) and pulses (lentils, peas and chickpeas) is fully completed.

However, farmers who have not yet harvested flax hope that the frost will help stop the oilseed from growing again, which was caused by recent rainfall.
