Negotiations on the work of the “grain corridor” started in Istanbul
On May 10, negotiations on the work of the “grain corridor” began in Istanbul, Turkey, Yeni Safak reports.
According to National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar, the meeting is attended by deputy defense ministers from Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, and UN representatives.
“Thanks to the Black Sea Grain Agreement, which we signed on July 22, 30 million tons of grain have been delivered to those in need… We are continuing our negotiations to ensure that this work is not interrupted and stability is maintained,” Akar said.
As a reminder, the day before, the Turkish Ministry of Defense announced that the topic of the talks would be “the extension of the grain deal” to ensure the fast, safe and efficient operation of the grain corridor.
