During a meeting on Wednesday, July 26, the NATO-Ukraine Council strongly condemned Russia’s decision to withdraw from the Black Sea grain deal. This was reported by the NATO press center.

“Allies and Ukraine strongly condemned Russia’s decision to withdraw from the Black Sea Grain Agreement and its deliberate attempts to stop Ukrainian agricultural exports, which affect hundreds of millions of people around the world. They also condemned Russia’s recent missile attacks on Odesa, Mykolaiv and other port cities, including Moscow’s cynical drone attack on a Ukrainian grain storage facility in the Danube port city of Reni, near the Romanian border,” the statement said.

It is noted that the Allies noted that Russia’s new warning zone in the Black Sea, within Bulgaria’s exclusive economic zone, has created new risks and serious obstacles to freedom of navigation.

As a reminder, according to the Ministry of Defense, the Russian Federation is preparing ships and aircraft to blockade the Black Sea after its withdrawal from the grain deal.
