More than 60 ships left Ukrainian ports in a month
The first month of operation of the grain corridor for the export of Ukrainian agricultural products by sea ends today.
During the month of operation of the grain corridor, 62 ships left Ukrainian ports. In particular, on August 31, one ship with agricultural products left, reports the Ministry of National Defense of Turkey on Twitter.
“Work continues on the shipment of grain in Ukrainian ports. As of this morning, one more ship is leaving Ukrainian ports,” the message says.
It is noted that nine more ships that will go to Ukraine will be inspected today.
A total of 134 ships were allowed to move in a month – 73 arriving at Ukrainian ports and 62 departing from them. About 1.5 million tons of food were exported.
It will be recalled that the agreement on the launch of a grain corridor from Ukraine was signed on July 22 in Istanbul.
