Louis Dreyfus will stop supplying Russian grain
The Russian Ministry of Agriculture has received a notice from the Russian subsidiary of Louis Dreyfus Company (LDC), one of the world’s largest suppliers of agricultural products, about stopping grain exports from Russia starting July 1, 2023.
“The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia has received a notification from Louis Dreyfus Company Vostok LLC saying that it will stop exporting grain from Russia starting July 1, 2023,” the press service of the ministry told RIA Novosti.
They also noted that at the present time the company is studying the possibility of transferring the existing Russian business and grain assets to new owners.
Last week it was announced about its plans to stop grain export from Russia for the next agricultural season (since July 1, 2023) two more major international exporters – American Cargill and Canadian Viterra. It was also reported that ADM is also thinking about withdrawal from the Russian market.
