Lithuania will tighten control over the transit of Russian grain
Lithuania will tighten control over the transit of Russian grain shipments coming through the country. The Ministry of Agriculture does not rule out the possibility that some of the Russian grain transported through the country may remain in Lithuania.
“The Ministry of Agriculture, in cooperation with other responsible Lithuanian institutions and ministries, is preparing relevant draft amendments to legislation that will strengthen control over the import and transit of grain of Russian origin through the territory of Lithuania,” the Ministry of Agriculture said in a comment.
