Latvia allocated another €50 thousand for Grain from Ukraine
The Cabinet of Ministers of Latvia has decided to allocate €50,000 from the state budget to contribute to the Grain from Ukraine humanitarian aid program.
This is stated on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia.
“Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine is contributing to the global food security crisis, especially in countries with existing food shortages. Contributions to the Grain from Ukraine program help Ukraine’s efforts to promote global food security, which is one of the elements of the peace formula proposed by Ukraine,” the statement said.
This is Latvia’s second contribution to the program, in 2022 it also provided a financial contribution of €50 thousand.
