The government of Kazakhstan plans to introduce export customs duties on certain types of agricultural products in order to increase the workload of processing enterprises and reduce the raw material orientation of exports. Such a point is contained in the draft Comprehensive Action Plan for the development of processing of agricultural products and food industry for 2024-2028, which was developed by the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan.
