Kazakhstan plans to abolish wheat, flour export quotas in June

Kazakhstan plans to abolish quotas on its exports of wheat and flour as well as all other restrictions on food product exports from June, the agriculture ministry said on Wednesday.

Kazakhstan introduced the quotas in March to secure food supply amid lockdowns and border closures introduced due to the novel coronavirus pandemic and indicated last month they might soon be dropped.
