553 KMT of Kazakh wheat was exported in November (+1% from October, +15% from November 2020/21). This season’s exports had totaled 1.53 MMT (-9% y-o-y), UkrAgroConsult reports.

As before, the top importer is Uzbekistan, which reduced purchases by 26% from a year earlier.

Many traditional importers show a y-o-y decline in demand: Tajikistan (-22%), Afghanistan (-28%), China (-93%).

The following countries boosted wheat purchases from Kazakhstan compared to last season: Turkmenistan (up 23 times), Azerbaijan and Turkey (doubled), the EU (tripled).

Last year, Iran only started buying Kazakh wheat from December, but it purchased as much as some 141 KMT during the first three months of this season.
