Information about EU safeguard duties on sugar and eggs from Ukraine has not been confirmed
Information that the European Union may impose safeguard duties on Ukrainian agricultural products has not been confirmed. This was reported by Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Olha Stefanishyna.
According to Stefanishyna, the government checked the information about possible EU plans for new duties, but it turned out to be false.
She also emphasized that the EU has no such plans.
“No new decisions on the return of duties on Ukrainian goods by the EU are currently planned,” Stefanishyna said.
