The platform is designed to facilitate interaction between Indian exporters and buyers.

Jitin Prasada, India’s Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, said in a speech in the lower house of the Indian parliament that rice exports exceeded US$120 million in April-May of the current fiscal year.

The main export destinations are Maldives, Mauritius, Malawi, Zimbabwe and Namibia.
