Today, 3 more ships with 85,000 tons of agricultural products left the ports of Chornomorsk and Pivdenny for African and European countries. Among them are the bulker BOMUSTAFA O with 22.8 thousand tons of wheat for Libya and NIMET TORLAK with 12.6 thousand tons of meal for Morocco.

In turn, Ukrainian ports accepted two tankers to load oil for Jordan and Romania.

Due to the fact that the UN and Turkey increased the number of inspection teams to 10, the Joint Coordination Center (JCC) on October 31 inspected 46 ships with 1.7 million tons of Ukrainian agricultural products that had already left for the ports of destination. The queue of vessels awaiting inspection in the Bosphorus has shrunk to 147 vessels both outbound and inbound.

During the 3 months of implementation of the “Grain Initiative”, 422 ships exported almost 10 million tons of agricultural products. This volume could be 30-40% more if the Russian Federation did not block inspections in the Bosphorus.

We will remind that the UN and Turkey emphasized the need to continue the “Grain Initiative” and agreed on the movement of vessels through the humanitarian corridor. At the same time, negotiations between the UN and Turkey with the Russian delegation continue, where the parties continue to seek solutions for the full implementation of the initiative. Ukraine, for its part, continues to fulfill its obligations and remains the guarantor of food security for the entire civilized world.
