One of the key Speakers of the Panel Discussion ‘IN SEARCH OF HIGH MARGINS: HIGH ERUCIC ACID RAPESEED, HIGH OLEIC SUNFLOWER, HIGH PROTEIN MEAL’ is Sergiy Harin, Corteva Agriscience, Ukraine.

From September 2017, Sergiy Harin holds a position of Corteva Agriscience ™ Business Manager in Eastern Europe. Sergiy is responsible for the strategic planning, management and development of the company in this region.

Beginning in the DuPont plant in the business of plant protection products in 2010 as Marketing Manager for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, Sergiy managed to achieve a doubling of annual sales figures and save profits in the company during various periods of crisis. Beginning in 2013, Sergiy joined the Head of the Business Unit of Eastern Europe and Central Asia, and since 2015 became Managing Director of DuPont Ukraine Ltd.

Sergiy Harin started his professional career in 1993 in the AgrEvo Agricultural Company as Marketing Manager in Ukraine and Moldova, and before joining DuPont, he worked in agricultural companies such as Aventis CropScience, Agrochem Technology, Bayer CropScience, UKEA Grain Logistic and Trading Hub, where he held managerial positions.

As part of the discussion, Sergiy will talk about the high-oleic sunflower segment, attractiveness and prospects of this segment – trends in Ukraine and the world, market and demand volume, long-term forecasts, margin and premiums compared to regular sunseed.
