Corn is currently up 10¢.
Soybeans are up 22¢.
CBOT wheat is up 17¢. KC wheat is up 14¢. Minneapolis wheat is up 17¢.
“We continue to trade a weather market as grains have a great overnight ahead of a dry forecast,” says Jeremy McCann, account manager at Farmer’s Keeper.
“It is projected that most of Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, and Minnesota will see little rainfall, if any at all, over the next few days.
“Pop up thunderstorms are likely to occur but are often missed by the radar and are very spotty.”
This morning USDA released the weekly Export Sales report. Corn and soybean net sales for the 2022/2023 marketing year fell within the range of trade expectations.
For the 2023/2024 marketing year only corn met expectations. Wheat and soybean export sales were both below expectations.
Live cattle are down 75¢ this morning. Lean hogs are up $1.53. Feeder cattle are down $2.98.
Crude oil is up $1.05.
S&P 500 futures are up 18 points. Dow futures are up 207 points.
Milling wheat is up on the MATIF trade.
Corn and soybeans are up on the Dalian trade.
