Grain prices will rise in 2-3 weeks – Solsky
Grain prices in Ukrainian ports have already increased. In another 2-3 weeks, the price of elevators will also increase. The Minister of Agricultural Policy and Food of Ukraine, Mykola Solsky, said this in an interview with Forbes.ua.
“We talked to the traders and made them understand that we would like to see them work with wheat, but we do not plan to resort to administrative regulation. The market itself will regulate everything faster and better than any state bodies,” the minister noted.
Meanwhile, Taras Vysotskyi, the First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, said that the price of grain within the country will become more or less balanced. However, the cost of grain will not be as high as international.
