Grain prices set highest in five regions of Ukraine
In the period of Jan-May 2020, the highest price for a ton of grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine was set in Zaporizhzhya region — UAH 4618,3.
Under the data of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, prices in the following regions were the highest in Ukraine in the reporting period:
- Zaporizhzhya: UAH 4618,3
- Cherkasy: UAH 4592,3
- Odesa: UAH 4572,5
- Mykolaiv: UAH 4567,5
- Dnipropetrovsk: UAH 4522,4
In January-May 2020, the average grain price in Ukraine was 4272.4 UAH/t.
Previously reported that export quotations for feed barley in the Black Sea region remained largely unchanged over the past week. Market operators are now keeping track of the harvesting progress and quality of new crop grain.
