According to Abiove’s forecast, soybean exports from Brazil will reach 86.7 million tons in 2021 compared to only 82.97 million tons in 2020.

– In the week of July 1 – 7, grain exports from Ukraine reached 254,000 tons, which is 38,000 tons more than the previous year. 90,000 tons of wheat (+77,000 tons) and 158,000 tons of corn (-4,000) were exported.

– Due to the prolonged drought in Kazakhstan, the grain production in the country is expected to decrease by 20-30%.

– Yesterday, commodity funds in Chicago were net buyers of 11,000 soybean contracts and net sellers of 7,000 corn contracts and 1,000 wheat contracts.

– According to Abiove’s forecast, soybean exports from Brazil will reach 86.7 million tons in 2021 compared to only 82.97 million tons in 2020. The indicator for the current year will be a new record for the country. The soybean production is estimated at 137.5 million tons (127.99).

– According to Oil World, 2.38 million tons of palm oil were exported from Indonesia in May (1.9 million tons in May 2020). The largest buyers were the EU with 429,000 tons (309,000), China with 288,000 tons (194,000), Pakistan with 264,000 tons (153,000), Malaysia with 168,000 tons (27,000), the United States with 132,000 tons (87,000). Since the beginning of the year, palm oil exports have reached 11.19 million tons (+1 million tons since the beginning of the year and +0.6 million tons since the beginning of the season). The largest buyer since the beginning of 2020/21 is China with a total of 3.4 million tons (18% share).

– The Philippines has announced a tender for the purchase of 150,000 tons of feed and 50,000 tons of milled wheat of any origin. Deliveries will be made over the period of September – November.

– Saudi Arabia has announced a tender for the purchase of 360,000 tons of milled wheat with a protein of 12.5% ​​and 11% of arbitrary origin.

– Jordan purchased 60,000 tons of feed barley of any origin at a price of 271.95 USD/ton C&F and delivery in early November.
