Grain exports from Ukraine amounted to $10 billion in monetary terms
Exports of grains and oilseeds in 2023/2024 MY in monetary terms amounted to $10.76 billion, and exports including products from them, including sunflower oil and other oils, cake and meal – $17.86 billion, according to the customs.
This is reported by the UGA.
During the same period, Ukraine exported 57.5 mln tons of grains and oilseeds.
Exports by crops are as follows:
- wheat – 18.4 mln tons worth $3 bln (production – about 22 mln tons),
- barley – almost 2.5 mln tons for $376 million (5.8 mln tons)
- corn – 29.3 mln tons worth $4.7 billion (29.6 mln tons),
- soybeans – almost 3 mln tons worth $1.1 bln (4.9 mln tons),
- rapeseed – 3.7 mln tons worth $1.4 bln (4.5 mln tons),
- sunseed – just over 300 thsd tons (14.2 mln tons).
Last year’s production of grains and oilseeds, according to the UGA, amounted to 82.8 mln tons. The carry-over stocks amount to about 7 mln tons of grains and oilseeds.
