Global Markets: Black Sea grain shipment deal extended
The deal allowing Ukrainian grain exports to move through the Black Sea has been extended, according to reports from the United Nations. In a statement, UN Secretary General António Guterres said, “I welcome the agreement by all parties to continue the Black Sea Grain Initiative to facilitate the safe navigation of export of grain, foodstuffs and fertilizers from Ukraine.” The news came as Russian attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure continued.
