Global corn production forecast down – USDA FAS
Global corn production is forecast down this month with reductions for the European Union, Russia, Serbia, Ukraine, and Moldova more than offsetting an increase for the United States, according to a USDA FAS market report on world grains.
Global trade is forecast down as lower exports for Ukraine, Serbia, Russia, South Africa, the European Union, and Paraguay more than offset an increase for the United States.
Global imports are forecast down as reduced forecasts for Iran, Vietnam, Chile, Egypt, and Nepal more than offset a raise to India.
The US season-average farm price is down 10 cents to $4.20 per bushel.
