Four more ships with food left Ukrainian ports
The shipment of food from Ukrainian ports continues as part of the “grain corridor”. Four more ships with grain went to sea today.
This was announced on Twitter by the Ministry of Defense of Turkey.
“Grain shipments continue from Ukrainian ports. Today, 4 more ships with grain left Ukrainian ports,” the message reads.
It will be recalled that it was previously reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin wants to change the direction of grain and other food exports from Ukraine. He plans to discuss this issue with Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
According to him, this is allegedly connected with the fact that almost all grain from Ukraine went not to the poorest countries, but to the European Union.
The Office of the President of Ukraine, in turn, stated that Putin’s words are groundless, but absolutely predictable. The Russian authorities are once again trying to remove sanctions with their blackmail.
As you know, the export of Ukrainian grain takes place in accordance with the “grain agreement” concluded between Ukraine, Russia, Turkey and the UN. Control over the work of the sea corridor and the preservation of the operation is entrusted to the coordination center in Istanbul.
