In the export of Ukrainian grain, there is a problem of its delivery to the port of Gdynia. Air transport logistics is quite expensive, and in railway transport it is complicated by the need to reload from a wide track to a narrow one.

This was reported by the head of the commercial department of the Gdynia Port Administration S.A. Jakub Koczara during the Agro&Food Security Forum, which is held in Warsaw under the auspices of the “Cooperative of Pulses Producers and Consumers of Ukraine” and the “UkrAgroConsult” agency.

“Gdynia has never been the port of first choice when it comes to exports. It has always been the Black Sea and its ports, and here we have a huge distance of hundreds of kilometers. It is necessary to transport by rail or motor vehicle, and we encounter certain difficulties here,” says Jakub Koczara.
