Turkish President: Putin agreed on the need to extend the “grain deal”
Turkish President Recep Erdogan says Putin has agreed with him on the need to extend the “grain deal.” He hopes the agreement will be extended beyond July 17, when it expires.
According to AFP and Reuters, he said this briefly to reporters without elaborating on the details of his conversation with the Russian president.
Putin said in comments to Russian media today, “We will think about what to do. We have a few days. He added that Russia could suspend participation in the agreement, but if Moscow’s conditions were met, it would be reinstated.
