Turkish President Recep Erdogan said he hopes for a “good result” in the resumption of the Black Sea Grain Initiative in the near future, Anadolu reports.

Erdogan said that Ankara is in close contact with the UN regarding the resumption of the “grain deal” and added that he would soon discuss this issue with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres.

“The resumption of this initiative is a priority for the whole world. We are in close contact with the UN on this issue,” the Turkish president said.

Erdogan said that Russia has two requirements for the resumption of the grain deal.
