December witnessed a 21% rise in flour exports from Ukraine
9.7 KMT of flour was exported in December (+21% from November, -72% from December 2019/20). July-December exports totaled 79.6 KMT (-58% y-o-y), the lowest since MY 2011/12, UkrAgroConsult reports.
At the same time, flour production fell by 24% from the same period last year.
Most importers reduced purchases in MY 2020/21, with the biggest slumps seen in shipments to the following destinations: China (-93%), Mozambique (-75%), the UAE (-71%), Singapore (-63%).
The following countries increased imports: Moldova, Israel and Venezuela.
