Croatia has confirmed its readiness to provide ports on the Danube and in the Adriatic Sea for the transportation of Ukrainian grain
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the Prime Minister of Croatia.
This was reported by the President’s press service.
“A great meeting with Prime Minister of Croatia Andrej Plenković. A new package of defense support. Export of grain, in particular through the Danube and Adriatic ports of Croatia. Humanitarian demining. I am grateful to Croatia for its assistance to Ukraine and global leadership in this area,” the statement said.
The Croatian side confirmed its readiness to provide ports on the Danube and in the Adriatic Sea for the transportation of Ukrainian grain.
Earlier today, Zelensky discussed the protection of alternative “grain corridors” with the Bulgarian Prime Minister. The President of Ukraine called the talks “productive”.
The Wall Street Journal recently reported that the United States is developing alternative routes for grain exports from Ukraine. The plan, which is supported by the Americans, involves the transportation of food via the Danube.
