China may open its market for Ukrainian flour and meat this year

Over the past two years, Ukraine has opened new markets in 14 countries for various agricultural products.

This was announced by former Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Mykola Solsky during his report to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine before the vote on his resignation.

“Last year, the work of the China-Ukraine Trade Commission was resumed, and this year we expect positive decisions from China on the opening of flour, meat, and fish products,” he said.

Solsky noted that the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, the Ministry of Economy and the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection are working together in this area.
