Chartering vessels for Ukraine halved in price
Thanks to the resumption of Ukrainian ports activity, the cost of chartering ships to Turkey has already halved.
At present, there is a noticeable trend towards the increase in prices for export agricultural products. Meanwhile, vessel charter costs to Turkey have halved, and cargo insurance costs have dropped from 4% to 1.5%.
Reducing costs will have a positive effect on stabilizing the work of Ukrainian agricultural enterprises, noted the Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Yuliya Svyridenko.
Ukraine is gradually increasing export volumes. In July, Ukrainian exporters delivered 2.7 million tons of grain to foreign markets, which is almost three times higher than in April (1 million tons). Currently, a dialogue is ongoing regarding the extension of quotas for the export of products for Ukraine by foreign partners.
