Canada to witness an increase in rapeseed crushing capacities
Viterra Company is planning to build the world’s largest canola crushing plant in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan by the end of 2024.
The design capacity is up to 2.5 MMT of canola a year, UkrAgroConsult reports.
Other two companies, Cargill Inc. and Richardson International, previously also announced their plans to construct oil extraction plants in Saskatchewan amid a record hike in canola futures prices.
