Bulgaria unblocks cars with Ukrainian agricultural products
Bulgaria will allow the movement of vehicles with agricultural products from Ukraine, which are now at the border.
This was stated by the Minister of Agrarian Policy Mykola Solsky, the press center of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy reports.
“We have agreed with the Bulgarians to unblock and unload the trucks,” Solsky said after talks with Bulgarian Agriculture Minister Yavor Getchev.
According to him, “the parties discussed the situation, agreed to wait for the European Commission’s decision and then continue negotiations.”
In turn, the Bulgarian minister noted after the talks that a meeting of EU agriculture ministers is expected in Luxembourg on April 25, where a decision can be agreed, BТА reports.
As a reminder, on Wednesday, April 19, the Bulgarian government imposed a temporary ban on food imports from Ukraine, except for transit.
