Brazil reduced soybean exports by 53% in September
About 6.23 mln tonnes of soybeans were sold from Brazilian ports last month. This estimate was published by the analysts of the Association of Grain Exporters Anec. They also noted that in the last week of September (from 24 to 30), 1.93 mln tonnes of the oilseed were exported.
In general, the export of Brazilian beans decreased by 53% to 7.61 mln tons compared to the previous month. At the same time, the supplies increased significantly compared to September 2022.
According to Anec estimates, in October, the soybean shipments will amount to 6.7 mln tonnes, compared to 3.6 mln tonnes in the same month of 2022.
The export of Brazilian corn in September is estimated at 9.59 mln tonnes (9.26 mln tonnes in August this year, 6.85 mln tonnes in September 2022). The country is expected to ship 8.9 mln tonnes of corn in October.
