Almost 4 hectares of wheat field burned in Zaporizhzhia region due to shelling by Russian troops
Almost 4 hectares of a wheat field burned down as a result of Russian shelling of a village in Zaporizhzhia region, and rescue efforts were complicated by possible repeated shelling and hot, dry weather, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service said on Friday, UNN reports.
As reported, a wheat field with a total area of almost 4 hectares caught fire in one of the villages of Pologivsky district.
“The work of rescuers was complicated by the possibility of repeated shelling, as well as hot, dry weather, which contributed to the rapid spread of the fire. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries,” the SES noted.
