After the war is over, Ukraine will build its own grain terminals abroad

The construction of Ukraine’s own grain terminals in the EU, Asia, and Africa will be a priority in the country’s post-war recovery. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy in an interview with the German newspaper Welt.

“We have to build new grain terminals in the EU, Africa and Asia. And huge hubs where we can deliver and then store wheat, corn and all other crops produced in Ukraine. Once these hubs are ready, we will be able to transport our goods there…

In this regard, we rely on partners from Europe, as this requires significant investments,” Zelensky said. He noted that some African countries have already expressed interest in the construction of such hubs.

Also, according to the President, Ukraine should actively work on the development of agriculture, in particular by attracting foreign partners to develop the irrigation system and its logistics.
