Afghanistan asks Russia to lower grain export prices
Afghanistan needs grain and asks Russia to lower export prices for it. This was announced by Nuruddin Azizi, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Taliban (a terrorist organization banned in Russia) that controls Afghanistan, on Wednesday at the session “Russia-Afghanistan” within the framework of the international economic forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum 2024”.
“There are some goods in rf that Afghanistan needs – wheat, grain. We need it. But unfortunately, Russia’s export tariff is very high. We want this price to come down,” Azizi said at the meeting.
The minister said special tariffs on Afghan exports are also needed.
“We want to use all the privileges (…) of countries that do not have access to the sea,” Azizi added.
