A slump in Kazakh flour shipments to Afghanistan
108 KMT of Kazakh flour was exported in September (+24% from August and -30% from September 2020/21). The commodity was exported to four traditional markets.
As before, the biggest importer in MY 2020/21 is Afghanistan, but shipments to this country slumped by 48% vs. September 2020, UkrAgroConsult reports.
Other importers stepped up purchases from last season: Uzbekistan (+26%) and Tajikistan (+5%), Turkmenistan (fivefold).
